Body image is not what other people think of you, what other people say about you, or what you actually look like, body image is what you think about yourself. Body image are the qualities that you think you have. Confidence is key. If you are confidence in your appearance, personality and how you present yourself, you will feel better about your self. What other people say about you should not make you feel negative about yourself, you should block out their opinion and think of all the wonderful characteristics you have. You can boost someone elses body image by giving them compliments and ways to make them feel better about themselves. Remember that confidence and compliments are the key to a good body image. Do not form opinions about yourself through an outsiders opinion. “Step Away from the Mean Girls……and say bye-bye to feeling bad about your looks. Are you ready to stop colluding with a culture that makes so many of us feel physically inadequate? Say goodbye to your inner critic, and take this pledge to be kinder to yourself and others. This is a call to arms. A call to be gentle, to be forgiving, to be generous with yourself. The next time you look into the mirror, try to let go of the story line that says you're too fat or too sallow, too ashy or too old, your eyes are too small or your nose too big; just look into the mirror and see your face. When the criticism drops away, what you will see then is just you, without judgment, and that is the first step toward transforming your experience of the world.” -Oprah Winfrey

If I Were A Stylist...
1. http://www.barbthefashionstylist.blogspot.com/
2. Myself as a stylist:
2. Myself as a stylist:
- I will discuss with you what your personal style is and the different types of colthing/accesories you like to wear.
- We will go through your wordrobe and find different outfits that fit your personality with the clothes that you already have.
- I will then take the knowledge I have from our discussions and your personal wordrobeand find outfits from the budget you set to add to your collection of clothes.
4. If I were to dress Miss. Harris, I would choose darker colors, and garments that are more flowy. Since Miss Harris loves red, I will choose fabulous red heels that make her look taller. For a finishing detail and a pop of personality, a chunky pearl bracelet or necklace to finish the look.

How Can You Make A Difference?
I would start an organization that helps little children who are less fortunate get clothing for themselves. This is because innocent little children are helpless when it comes to supporting themselves, and if they are in need of help they should get it. I would have donation bins in various different places, and collect it once a week so the clothes do not sit around and get to the children as soon as possible. i would go to schools where there are children who may not be in need and show them what it is like to help others, especially children like them. These schools would be able to donate or make these clothes, anything makes a difference. The mission statement of the organization would be "a little goes a long way". If one person donates one shirt, thats one more child to help. If ten people each donate one shirt, thats ten infants youv'e reached out to. My target audience would be to get little children who do not understand what is like, and educte them on kids just like them. To publicise my organization I would put up flyers, and have announcements made at public events. I would make it work by bringing all of the donations to local, and distant food pantries etc. to give to the little children.

Contraversial Fashion Ads
One of the most contraversial ads that you will see come from some of the most popular clothing companies in the world. You will see people with barely any clothes on at all, basically nude. This is offensive and degrating to women. At toponlinecolleges.com you will find many of these pictures and videos of women being seductive and showing off their body parts. Many of these will been seen on billboards, tv commercials, computer pop-ups etc, where these can all been seen by children and people of other ages which innapropraite for their eyes. For a young innocent child to see a half naked women unexpectedly on a billboard is wrong. Advertising sex is what these clothing companies are trying to do and it is unacceptable to been shown in all of the places that we see it today. Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Dolce & Gabbana are a few of these companies that advertise sex instead of advertise their clothing apparel.
